How it works.

1. The 50/30/20 rule is a simplified budgeting method that divides your monthly after-tax income into three distinct categories: 50% for non-negotiable expenses, 30% for wants, and 20% for savings or debt repayment.

The big secret.

2. Everyone has a money number in their subconscious, put there by others when they were children.  Have more than that number, and they spend on anything to get back to their number.  Why most lottery winners lose it all.  Get below that number, and they will panic and work until they get back to that number.  We all know this side of it well.  If you pay attention to yourself, you will see your number clearly.  

This money number determines our exact station in life.  It is a silent, all-powerful caste system.  This is why the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer, and the apple does not fall far from the tree.  

You have to change the number in your head before you can move up. The way to change your money number is to write a new story for yourself, as described in the pure happiness section.  Your move up is then automatic.
